For young people aged 11-25 years in West Leeds with learning disabilities, PMLD and/or autism who want to be creative and explore stories using all their senses.
Come and explore Interplay’s new project celebrating our show DRIFT across 3 days in our theatre space. We’ll create a sensory space together, explore our favourite things about video games, and create a performance for our family and friends
What happens at Sensory Youth Theatre?
These sessions provide a creative and relaxed environment for young people with learning disabilities. There are no strict rules or expectations, and there’s a structure of support for lots of different needs. There will be a mix of free-form and sensory activities with some more structured creative activity for those who want it. Each project will take place over 3 days during the school holidays. Young people will attend one workshop a day, building towards a sharing of their creative ideas at the end of the week. The projects are themed differently each time.
