PAINT tells the story of a girl in search of the moon. She paints a ladder to the stars and brings colour to a black and white world in which a boy is in charge. He has a spray can of white paint that he uses to eradicate any trace of colour. The girl tells him the story of painting and gives paint to the audience. The audience paint together, and the boy is frozen and confused.
The Girl approaches the Boy and offers him a paint brush. The boy starts to paint and paints a ladder to the stars. The girl smiles and starts to climb it. Her dress lights up and colour fills the space. The girl plays among the stars and paint is everywhere. Then the girl is gone, and the boy alone begins to laugh out loud.
Paint is an interactive sensory experience that encourages young people with severe disabilities to engage and create in a world of sensory play. Mixing live performance and music with action painting and messy play, your learners will use paint to touch and explore the 360º multi-sensory environment.
